Something to chew on this morning. War is coming whether we want it to or not. The people at the top want it, and they want it bad. So what does that mean for you? It means you have two choices in this world: Either stay on the island of mankind or get into God's boat as Noah did and be saved. Because those on the islands will die, but those in God's boat of protection will be saved.
For those who don't understand the meaning of this, I'll explain it this way. Islands are representative of man made bastions of safety where the residents supply all their own needs, including safety. However, islands are large, inviting targets for unscrupulous people, and are fixed in their locations, unable to move or change with the flow of trouble, and even unable to get out of the way as disasters approach them. Because of this they will eventually be either conquered, sunk (IE, as the waters of trouble rise, they cannot rise with it and will eventually become inundated and sunk into the deep), or worse, causing everyone to die or be taken away into captivity.
Boats on the other hand are small, agile, able to rise and fall with the waves, move back and forth to wherever they need to go to escape trouble, to outrun storms, and in some cases be able to ride out storms much more securely and effectively than islands. Another thing about boats is that they have little or no room for supplies. So those inside the boat are forced to resupply from outside sources as they have little ability, if any at all, to supply their own needs. Therefore they are reliant on others.
So, Islands = Man's attempt at salvation, which ultimately fails and leads to destruction. Boats = God's provision of salvation which never fails and is always there day in and day out to protect and save us from that destruction. Get the message? Be in the boat, and not on the island.
