  Book Teaser: Thrown headlong into an incredibly cold, hostile, alien universe, Captain Edmond and his crew must learn the ways of the galaxy and return home safely to Earth, or risk the extinction of the human race.
Status: Mid-level drafts done. The core elements of the story are pretty much set now. All that remains is to do a lot of cleanup editing. ETA for publishing is May 2011.
Note: This story is a prequel to book 1, and tells about the Society's first steps into space, and the events that eventually lead up to the creation of Earthfleet, as well as the origins of their war against the Juinah mafia.
